Make your way to the Elephant Safari Park in Desa Taro, just north of Ubud, and get instant access with your pre-booked e-ticket. Look at the displays of elephant history and physiology on arrival at the reception area.

Pop into the boutique gift shop to discover a huge range of elephant-related products. The park also features a 200-seat restaurant and bar with spectacular views over the lake, a snack bar and photo kiosk, a museum with 1,000 exhibits and a 15,000-year-old mammoth skeleton for your interest.

You will have an opportunity to learn about Sumatran elephants, their history, and the situation in their native island of Sumatra throughout the Elephant Introduction Talk.

  • All the elephants were rescued from deforestation in central and southern Sumatra
    • The park is ideal for the entire family and is open 7 days a week
    • The park follows the “5 Freedoms of Animal Welfare” established in Great Britain in 1965. It has been recognized by the international community and numerous animal welfare organisations such as the National Geographic Society as a Welfare Supporter, as well as the World Wildlife Foundation as a Partner in Conservation.
